Medium-deep red at the core, with a cranberry-colored rim, this wine is relatively light on its feet for its category. Highly perfumed but also highly evolved, it smells of dusty earth, rose petals, dried red cherries and anise. The palate follows with the same flavors as well as chiseled acidity and slightly choppy tannins.
