This dark-magenta colored wine fills the palate with wet and freshly-turned earth, cassis and baked blackberry pie. There’s cinnamon spice and a kick of espresso on the lingering finish. Sumptuous on the palate, with moderate extract and highly sculpted tannins, this wine has a caressing and mouthwatering acidity. It’s a dignified yet sexy package, and it’s one that should age well through 2019.
