This mulberry-colored wine is laced with mahogany. The nose is subdued and showing notes of advancement in its aroma of fallen leaves. The palate is medium in body but rather light in flavor, with hints of mulberries, sweet spices and roses. The tannins are impressively succulent and caressing, while the acidity whollops on a feisty freshness. This pleasant drink is overall well-crafted, and best enjoyed now through 2017.
