Pale colored with a rust-tinged rim, this wine is impressively spicy on the nose. It smells of rose water, tea leaves and peppermint. The palate is dynamic with lifting but integrated acidity, touches of gingerbread and cardamom, and lots of energy. Long on the finish, this is a compelling and distinguished wine, with all the bells and whistles to set off Pinot Noir lovers’ ecstasy. Drink now through 2020.
