This dark rose-colored wine appears bright and gleaming. The nose smells of tart cherries, lingonberry syrup and fennel. The palate is lively, with fresh strawberry flavors accented by dill, toasted marshmallow and well-done meat. Medium in body with very youthful flavors, this should appeal to a broad spectrum of drinkers. It would be a perfect by-the-glass or carafe selection in a casual bistro. Moderate in finish, this will drink best while still in its youth enjoy now through 2017.
