This wine’s reticent nose mimics its modestly concentrated palate. There are notes of field flowers and sweet spices but little fruit succulence. Despite the restrained alcohol, the mouthfeel is pleasantly broad and firm, but a bit choppy and noticeably dry. This might be nice with a creamy brie or other triple-cream cheese. Drink now through 2017.
