Though pale in a rusty red-rose color, this is far from a reserved Pinot Noir—succulence abounds. A gorgeous and well-developed nose brings bold barbecue spices enhanced by rose petals nuances. This is fun, lively and playful, with caressing tannins on the midpalate that firm up on the very long finish. Overall this is delightful, layered, nuanced and exotic. Drink now through 2019.
