This youthful wine shows a bold and vigorous nose. It smells of blackcurrant leaf, peppermint and graphite. It’s highly dynamic and zesty, with a moderately firm palate boasting grainy yet sculpted tannins and subtle but supporting acidity. The midpalate is round and supple, making it easy to drink alone, yet with no obvious new oak, this will blend well with many dishes, too. Drink now through 2019.
