This wine’s mulberry color is see-through and graduates from dark at the core to pale at the rim. Loads of mulberry, blueberry, rhubarb tart, peach skin, açai and rose frame this wine’s nose and palate. It is soft on the attack but graduates to lightly firm on the lingering finish. It has all of the lace, filigree and finesse of flavors and structure one expects of Pinot Noir. With air, the wine develops earthier notes accompanied by fallen autumn leaves. Drink now through 2020.
