Surprisingly light in color concentration, this mulberry-hued wine is crystal clear at the core. It smells of peat fire, savory spice and cigar humidor. There are mulberries, baked strawberries, red cherries and sweet blueberries galore come the palate. Perhaps most impressive, despite the exotic aromas, is the brilliantly balanced exhibited by the pillowy tannins and the sassy acidity. Drinks very well now enjoy now through 2018.
