This pale green-tinged, yellow-colored wine comes with a very waxy nose that also smells of sesame and melted candles. It tastes of citrus pie, pomelo pulp and fresh flax seeds. Its texture is a fascinating yin-yang of creaminess and firmness. Given the slightly more prominent acidity, this would probably do well with a bit of bottle age. Though a medium-weight wine, this bottling can handle lighter meat dishes like veal saltimbocca. Drink now through 2019.
