A near-opaque core of purple-black streaks lead into a deep cranberry rim. Caramelized walnuts, vanilla bean, crème brûlée and toasted coconut leap from the glass. Black plum dominates the fruit profile followed by generously ripe blueberry. Cedar inflections appear on the end. Full-bodied with generous glycerol, moderate acidity and sophisticated tannins, this mouthful leads to a medium finish. Drink now–2015.
