This brightly colored wine, with hints of copper at its core, smells of comm wafer, strawberries and wine lees. It is medium-plus in body, especially for such a pale-colored wine. The nicely pithy tannins do a fine job of counteracting the wine’s plushness on the palate. This is a great food rose, though its massively pale color would make you think it is more for the swimming pool or tennis court. Enjoy this with a seafood risotto now and through 2016.
