Opaque ruby-purple color, this is intensely grapy with a youthful nose of cinnamon and brown sugar undertones. The dry attack leads to a rounded palate further shaped by moderate-plus acidity, clunky tannins and some viscosity. Coconut and vanilla notes shine through on the palate, too. Simple but clean with average concentration and short finish, this drinks well now through 2013.
