Vibrant but pale in its yellow color, this wine shoots tiny bubbles to its surface. The nose is vinous and very Chardonnay-like, with lots of apple-driven character that works well with its other savory and nutty nuances. The finish isn’t ample, but the joyful energy of the wine doesn’t short-trade the taster. Light in body but full in flavor, this would be an easy choice for a house Champagne, depending on one’s budget. Drink now through 2017.
