Deep black in color, this wine has a tar colored core and a broad cherry-colored rim. The light and breezy nose smells of licorice and soft-stemmed herbs. The palate delivers loads of fresh red cherry, anise and graphite. The well-balanced, full body contributes generous breadth while integrated and moderately perky acidity and light tannins keep the wine within the lines. This is easy drinking, with generous liveliness leading to a soft and moderate finish. Drink through 2016.
