This pours a pale lemon color, with a wide water white rim. The nose shows aromas of fennel, anise, heather, lemon pith, peach skin and cantaloupe. There’s a supple juiciness to the palate, with light concentration and a modest finish. The vague tannins somewhat dominate the wine, as there’s not quite enough stuffing to support it. Needs to be drunk up early enjoy now.
