A dense, black colored wine that presents a mineral nose with slate and asphalt notes. Bouquet showcases blackberry cobbler, blueberry crumble and briar patch. Lightly medicinal flavors waft across the weighty palate. Despite being husky, the wine is only moderately concentrated and shows no obvious oak traits. Moderate minus length with limited complexity. Drink now through 2014.
