Orange-tinted and rusty in color, this wine’s nose screams old school. The evolved bouquet shows fatigued red fruits, scorched red plum skin and charred orange peel. The palate is heavily oxidized, making for a thin mouthfeel with dry, rustic tannins. As if the palate needed another detractor, there’s a decidedly green and herbal character showing up, too. Drink now.
