This wine has a deep black core accompanied by a luminous, bright mulberry rim. Its bold, high-toned and forward nose mixes licorice, tar and baking spice with mulberry and strawberry jam. The flavors are focused and pure, while the suavely textured palate is round, creamy and polished. The medium-plus finish shows this wine has plenty of complexity to allow for beneficial development drink now through 2018.
