Über black at the core, this wine sports a tiny crimson rim. The nose is developed in a most attractive way, with notes of spiced, baked plum, caramel and ripe fig. These deions aside, the wine is totally dry on the attack and has an excellent structure. Lightly drying tannins, bright acidity and sheer vigor give this wine good focus. The finish is fairly quick, but the wine delivers plenty of flavor and food friendliness. Best through 2016.
