Dark cherry colored at the core, this wine has a vibrant, blue-tinged magenta rim. The nose is moderately reserved, showing flashes of peak-of-ripeness blueberries amidst gravel, tar and damp earth tones. The palate pops in notes of lavender, smelling like the fields of Provence in July. Round and welcoming, with easy tannins and mild yet supporting acidity, this is an easy drinker.
