Pale and limpid, with a light straw appearance, the forward bouquet is pithy and briny in lemon zest, nectarine and Mandarin orange aromas. The solid breadth on the midpalate is accompanied by a touch of leesiness that suggests some use of wood, and the wine’s succulent fruit could certainly handle it. The body is medium-minus, as the vibrant acidity really reins in the voluptuousness. The finish is surprisingly short. Drink up with gusto in the near-term to enjoy the youthful bravado.
